Founders Letter

When the Alliance of Law Abiding Motorcycle Clubs was first brought together in 2013, the idea was simple.

Motorcycle clubs are strongest when there is communication between leadership. When presidents know each other, when clubs understand each other, and when there is a place where conversations can happen respectfully, the entire motorcycle community benefits.

The Alliance was created to help provide that place.

From the beginning, the intention was not to create another governing body or an organization that controlled clubs. Every club has its own traditions, leadership, and identity. The Alliance was designed to respect that independence while encouraging cooperation between clubs.

Because of that philosophy, the structure was intentionally kept simple.

There are no dues.
There are no application fees.
The Alliance was never intended to operate as a profit driven organization.

Its purpose has always been communication, cooperation, and relationships within the motorcycle community.

Over the years I have had the privilege of meeting many club presidents and members who share this belief. Clubs that may not have known each other before were able to sit down, talk, and build mutual respect.

That is what the Alliance was meant to be.

Like any organization that grows over time, the Alliance continues to evolve as new clubs and leaders become involved. That is a healthy part of any community.

What matters most is that we never lose sight of the original purpose. The Alliance exists to promote communication, cooperation, and respect between motorcycle clubs. When we remember that mission, the rest tends to fall into place.

The motorcycle community has always been strongest when leaders can sit across the table, shake hands, and talk things through before problems grow larger than they need to be.

I remain grateful for everyone who has helped build the Alliance since its founding and for those who continue to support its mission today.

Ride safe,

John "Wyld Stile" Larson
