The Alliance of Law Abiding Motorcycle Clubs was founded in 2013 by John “Wyld Stile” Larson with a simple purpose: to create a structured environment where law abiding motorcycle clubs could communicate, cooperate, and stand together in unity.

At the time of its founding, there was a clear need for an organization that could provide connection and guidance among clubs while maintaining respect for the traditions and independence that define the motorcycle community. The Alliance was created to serve that purpose, offering a place where clubs could share information, build relationships, and support one another while preserving the values that have long been part of the 99 percent culture.

From the beginning, the Alliance was intentionally designed to operate differently from many organizations. There are no dues. There are no application fees. The Alliance was never created to be a money making organization. Its foundation rests on cooperation, structure, and mutual respect between clubs.

The Alliance patch was created as a symbol of that unity. The preservation and distribution of the patch were intentionally structured in order to maintain consistency, quality, and integrity. This framework was established early and written into the bylaws so the symbol of the Alliance would remain consistent and protected as the organization grew.

As the Alliance expanded, additional structure was introduced to support its growth. Advisory board participation, governance procedures, and written bylaws were implemented to help maintain clarity and stability. These elements were designed to provide representation and guidance while preserving the original mission and principles that led to the creation of the Alliance.

While the Alliance has grown and evolved over the years, its purpose remains the same as it was in 2013: to provide a stable and principled framework where clubs can come together, share knowledge, and strengthen the bonds that hold the law abiding motorcycle community together.

The Alliance is larger than any one individual. Its strength comes from the clubs and members who choose to participate in its mission and carry its values forward.
